Most homes in Meadowgreen are red brick ranches from the 1950s, but some properties have seen a paint job since then. Meadowgreen homes typically have three bedrooms and a generously sized yard with several trees for shade. Home prices in the neighborhood can range from the high $100s to the mid-$300s.

At the southern end of Hunt Street, Roger's Park boasts 7.5 acres of sports facilities and green space for outdoor recreation. A playground, a soccer field, tennis courts, and basketball courts offer opportunities for exercise, while covered picnic pavilions provide space for outdoor gatherings.

Middle Tennessee State University is just five minutes north of East Park. Driving in Murfreesboro is typically a breeze, and Florence Pointe's location on the northwest edge of town puts it closer to the city of Nashville than any other neighborhood in the city. Its proximity to I-24 and I-840 makes it easy to quickly get on the road heading into Murfreesboro or the state capital. Additionally, Florence Pointe's relatively rural surroundings offer residents easy access to local agricultural products. Salem Springs

Salem Springs is also right down the street from Joanie's Murfreesboro, one of Murfreesboro's most critically acclaimed restaurants. Joanie's has won local awards for best breakfast and best new restaurant in Murfreesboro and earned a feature on America's Best Restaurants. Because everything at Joanie's is made to order, the restaurant serves its entire menu all day, allowing patrons to enjoy gourmet burgers and sandwiches for breakfast or crepes and freshly brewed coffee for dinner.

Quail Run

Quail Run is a community near the northeastern outskirts of Murfreesboro, boasting affordable homes, beautiful scenery, and quick access to shops and restaurants.

Homes in Quail Run typically sell from the mid-$300s. Most homes in the community are medium- to large-sized ranches, although the neighborhood also has some two-story houses. Many properties in Quail Run feature elegant live oaks, with a high density clustered around the neighborhood's center. These towering beauties provide plenty of shade and a habitat for birds and other small animals.

Sidewalks along Northfield Boulevard allow Quail Run residents to walk to some nearby businesses, including Joe & Dough Cafe. Across the street from the shopping center lies Carolyn's Consignment, Murfreesboro's longest-running consignment shop. Lakeview Heights

Lakeview Heights consists primarily of ranches and split-level homes from the 60s and 70s. Most homes were constructed using bricks, but various brick colors and the incorporation of vinyl siding in the split-level homes add visual interest. Despite the neighborhood's excellent lakeside location, homes for sale in Lakeview Heights range from the high $200s to the mid-$300s.

Todds Lake is the product of businessman and state politician Andrew Lee Todd's efforts to convince the US Veterans Administration to build a hospital on his land in the 1930s. Although the VA chose another site, Todd still created the lake as a cattle watering hole and fishing spot before he died in 1945. The lake is still a popular fishing location, home primarily to largemouth bass.

On the other side of the lake lies Kensington Place Shopping Center, which includes Publix, banks, and other services. Across South Rutherford Boulevard, residents can find even more businesses, including several chain restaurants, a gas station, and Somboun's Asian Market, which offers fresh produce and snacks that are difficult to find elsewhere.
