Landmark Booksellers - 114 East Main Street, Franklin

Not only will you get to enjoy the beautiful Franklin Downtown areas, but you can also find plenty of great books at Landmark Booksellers. Whether you want to find a rare book, a signed first edition or just a good story, they have plenty of choices. You can search through their more than 60,000 books, 1,500 signed first editions and even their children's area.

Parnassus Books - 3900 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville

This independent bookstore is one of the favorites of locals in Nashville. They provide some of the best choices and a great place for local authors. With plenty of book signings and readings throughout the year, there's never a dull moment here.

Bookman/Bookwoman Used Books - 1713 21st Avenue South, Nashville

Over 100,000 books are found here and you can get them for a fraction of the price of new. This used book store is a very popular spot because of their price point and their huge selection.

Elder's Bookstore - 101 White Bridge Road

For nearly a century, Elder's Bookstore has been Nashville's store of choice for out-of-print, hard-to-find, rare and used books. The bookstore's founder, Charles Elder, was a Vanderbilt Graduate who loved history and books. Elder's Bookstore has passed down in the family and is now being operated by Charles' son Randy. You can find nearly anything antique, rare, or unusual just by consulting with Randy. If you're a collector of antique books, you can also get your books appraised at Elder's Bookstore.
