Here are some of the best haunted houses ready to open for fun and frights.

If you're looking for a hair-raising experience this Halloween season, Slaughterhouse Nashville Haunted House is a must-visit attraction. Located at 3445 Lebanon Pike in the town of Hermitage, just minutes off I-40, this haunted house promises a thrilling adventure.

As you step inside, you'll embark on a self-guided tour through five themed theaters, each blending horror with immersive storytelling. One ticket, priced at $28 for general admission and $15 for kids 12 and under, grants you access to all the chilling experiences.

Bloody Acres Haunted Woods

  • Where: 318 Big Station Camp Blvd, Gallatin, TN 37066

Found in Gallatin, this is actually a haunted forest with plenty of blood-drenched spirits and more. It's open Fridays and Saturdays from September 13th to October 31st starting at 7 p.m.

Do note that this is a real forest and there is no ATM access—general admission is $20 cash only, $30 if you want to skip the main line. You should also keep an eye on the weather.

Bell Witch Cave

  • Where: 430 Keysburg Rd., Adams, TN 37010

This isn't your classic haunted house experience—this is a real haunted place near Nashville. Centered around one of the spookiest legends of Nashville, the Bell Witch Cave provides a great scary attraction near Adams. The Legend of the Bell Witch is one of the most documented and vicious stories found within the area.

This year, you can take part in a paranormal investigation hosted by Todd and Leanne Escue of The Black Wolf Paranormal. The one in October is on the 17th, but if you miss it, there's another on November 2nd. Investigations start at 7 p.m. (arrive by 6:30) and generally take about six hours.

You can also schedule a Lantern Tour, available throughout October on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights. Tours last 2–3 hours and have a minimum group size of four. Special perks include a peek at the album of paranormal pictures taken at the cave!
