4 Must-See Dog Parks in Nashville, TN

Your dogs deserve the best you can give them, and that includes fun day trips to the dog park. When your dog needs to get their energy out or to spend time playing with other dogs, the dog park is the best place to take them. With so many parks around the city, however, it can be hard to choose the right one for your furry friend. Here is a list of 4 of the best dog parks in Nashville, TN, to check out the next time you want to play.

Stones River Dog Park

Address: Stones River Greenway, Nashville, TN 37214

For dogs and people with a taste for adventure, the Stones River Dog Park is a great trail for a long walk. This ten-mile trail connects Shelby Bottoms to the nearby Priest Lake, and the road is paved for easy walking. Walk along with your furry friend through the trees and over the bridges, and see what there is to see. There are plenty of spots along this multi-use trail to stop and take a break, including a large dog park at the entrance of the pathway. A dog fountain is located just outside this park to ensure that your pup stays hydrated for the long walk ahead.

Nashboro Village Dog Park

Address: Nashboro Village Dog Park, 710 Nashboro Blvd, Nashville, TN 37217

The Nashboro Village Dog Park is a great place to keep your dog active in a number of different ways. This green space features a wide-open area where dogs and their owners can play fetch together for as long as their hearts desire. For a different kind of play, the park also features agility equipment, including a ramp, a small tunnel, and a hoop for dogs to jump through. This is a very friendly area, so it's a great place to bring your dog to make friends.

BarkPark

Address: BarkPark, 800 Meridian St, Nashville, TN 37207

Treat your dog to the life of luxury they deserve at BarkPark. This park has tons of fun stuff for pooches and their people to enjoy, including a fenced-off area for dogs to run without leashes, paddling pools and splash pads for cooling off, and snacks and toys for the pups. There are hangout spots for the humans to sit while watching their dogs as well, with free Wi-Fi offered to visitors. All of these fun features come with a small price tag, as only members have access to the park and its year-round events: a $15 daily pass grants access to one dog and two humans, and monthly passes are available as well.

Two Rivers Dog Park

Address: Two Rivers Dog Park, 3150 McGavock Pk, Nashville, TN 37214

Two Rivers Dog Park is a wide-open space where dogs can run and play to their heart's content. This off-leash park features a large grassy area in the center for many dogs to come and play with each other. Many trees allow for shady play areas for when dogs need to cool off, and there are many benches and a covered pavilion where people can sit and chat while watching their dogs make friends. This park also features a walking loop around its perimeter for dogs and humans alike to stay active together.
