Old Fort Golf Club

The Old Fort Golf Club is a public course in the central part of Murfreesboro. It's an 18-hole, 72-par course that was built in 1985. The Stones River winds through part of the course as a water hazard, and there are six sets of tees for golfers of all skill levels. The course length from the back tees is an estimated 7,086 yards, making drive distance critical for golfers.

The Old Fort Club is also home to a unique 6-hole training course called Bloomfield Links. It's a great training opportunity for junior golfers and anyone learning the game. Smyrna Golf Course

The course website includes drone footage of every hole, so golfers can check out the challenges before arriving—the Smyrna course clocks in at 6,453 yards from the back tees.

Practice facilities include ranges for driving, pitching, and chipping, and they have an 8,000-square-foot putting green as well. This course also offers a "foot golf" course, the first of its kind to open in Tennessee. This is similar to golf but played with a regulation-sized soccer ball. The Smyrna Golf Course opens at 7:30 daily, with the first tee times at 8:00 a.m. Closing times vary due to daylight savings time.

Champions Run has exceptional practice facilities and pro golf instruction. There's a 10-acre driving range with dual-directional trees to practice on, and a 10,000-square-foot putting green with two sand bunkers. The clubhouse has a restaurant with a full menu and a fully stocked pro shop.
