Brentwood Most Expensive Neighborhoods

Just over ten miles from the heart of Nashville, the Brentwood community is one of the region's most popular, vibrant, and fast-growing suburbs.  While Brentwood offers affordable neighborhoods, the city has become known for its high-end homes, providing luxury options for Nashville area buyers looking for large, unique properties. The most expensive neighborhoods in Brentwood offer plenty of amenities from outdoor recreation to beautiful houses.

McGavock Farms

Home to some of Brentwood's priciest properties, McGavock Farms is a historic neighborhood set along the Little Harpeth River. The subdivision stretches from Franklin Road/US Route 31 to Granny White Pike, with Murray Lane as its southern border. It takes its name from the family that once operated a plantation on the site, parts of which are preserved at the adjacent Brentwood Country Club. This popular private facility includes an award-winning 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, dining options, and other amenities for members. McGavock Farms is also home to the 32-acre Granny White Park, which includes walking trails, sports fields, a playground, and picnic sites, as well as the Brentwood Middle and High schools.

McGavock Farms real estate is entirely made up of large detached single-family homes, some built as recently as just over a decade ago. These spacious houses can reach as large as 11,000 square feet of living space or more, with even relatively "smaller" properties topping 6,000 square feet. Lots are similarly roomy, ranging from a half-acre to three acres or more. Homes typically include five to six bedrooms and a similar number of bathrooms, and luxury features like pools, basement recreation rooms, outdoor kitchens, and more. Some properties can be found as low as the $1.75 million range, but others may list for close to $6 million or more.
