Julia Burciaga: RE/MAX Advantage
Julia Burciaga is from Southern California in the Los Angeles area. Self-proclaimed former punk, Julia’s unique and creative background makes her a wonderful conversationalist with clients of all backgrounds. Prior to making the move to real estate, Julia worked as a trained Cinematographer and Master Photographer. She attended art school in Santa Barbara and afterward landed a production manager job at an animation studio. Her creative background and interest in urban settings led her to make a change in 2016.
Julia began training with the Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage in December 2016. She was a licensed real estate agent by the first week of 2017, and she sold 18 properties in her first year. She is an active part of the Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage’s Listing team and has both her broker's license and CRS designation. Julia specializes in downtown condos, historic homes, and short-term rental investment properties.
Her artistic background gives her the ability to work creatively on the behalf of her clients, looking for every advantage for them, and finding solutions to hurdles as they show up. It's natural for Julia to offer creative design advice for renovations, creative financing options for buyers, creative selling strategies for sellers, and creative tactics for buyers/sellers' success in double transactions. Her experience has proven her to be a successful agent with a total of 106 transactions by 2022.
Julia’s positive personality is contagious, and she is so proud of her two adult children and her long-time partner John. When she’s not with her family, or her staff best friend Sandy Miles, she is an avid traveler who loves the ocean. Julia is passionate about art and architecture, and the fact that she thinks Birkenstocks are ugly.
