Dean started his career at Keller Williams in Franklin. He partnered with a fellow Realtor and later they were recruited to join the top Century 21 team in Tennessee. Dean worked with them as a Buyer’s Agent. After working with two of the top Realtors in Middle Tennessee, he gained confidence and experience, so Dean decided to move his career to RE/MAX and The Ashton Real Estate Group. With The Ashton Real Estate Group, Dean has more freedom to work directly with both buyers and sellers. He loves being a part of the #1 Real Estate team in Tennessee, and the #3 RE/MAX team in the United States.

In 2014, he set a personal high for average home sales price and referral business. 85% of his closings came from past client referrals and relationships.

Dean was born and raised in Texas. After studying journalism at Texas Tech University, he moved to Nashville to join Rivals.com, a division of Yahoo.com. After tiring of the cubicle/corporate world, Dean left behind sports journalism to focus on something he enjoyed: serving others. As a Realtor, he builds strong relationships with clients and helps them find their perfect home by listening to them and helping them see past fancy upgrades to see livability. He wants his clients to be comfortable and understand the process, and he walks them through each step.
Dean married his wife, Jill, in 2007. His daughter, Lily, was born in 2012 and takes up all his free time. She already loves football, too. They live in the Oak Hill community in Nashville and are members of Grace Community Church in Brentwood.
