Part of the appeal of living in Nashville is that we do not have the major extremes of weather, but we do have four distinct seasons, which are Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter.

There was a study done last year that astounded the real estate industry.

Apparently winter isn’t as bad of a home selling season as most people think. The study found that homes listed in winter have a 9 percent better chance of selling and spend seven fewer days on the market than homes sold in any other season. Yes, even the infamous “spring home selling season.”

So now think about when your home looks it's best from the curb.

The summer is when your trees are in full foliage, the flowers in full bloom and your manicured lawn at is very best. With brigh blue skies and puffy white clouds, this is when your home looks its absolute best.

Imagine, in just a few short weeks, how that picture can change. All the hard word you put into maintaining the trees, the flowers and the lawn will soon disappear, as winter arrives. Now its going to be hard to get a great exterior picture.
