A note sent to me today fromclosing attorneys Smith Sholar Milliken which i think is worth making note of :

"Contrary to belief, the congress has NOT extended the closing date of the June 30th tax credit deadline. That date is fast approaching and our calendar is filling quickly, if your closing needs to happen before the end of the month.

Also, if your closing involves a loan, PLEASE check with the mortgage company to make sure your closing is going to be approved and ready to close before the end of the month.

In fact, we suggest you try to close BEFORE the crisis closing date of June 30th and take some of the stress out of your Buyer's life."

So..looks like things could be busy for closings...and hopefully we will get some kind of confirmation that the extension is official :)
