With tours of the Hermitage, where both of these are found, along with the Old Hermitage Church, many tourists make their way to the area every summer.
Another attraction found in the area is the Tulip rove, which is part of the Hermitage area, as well. All of this property has to do with President Andrew Jackson and the history of this family.
The Hermitage Donelson community is served by the McGavock Cluster of schools. These are some of the best schools in the area and both public and private schools are found within the area.
