The access to the interstate is so quick and easy that the secret about Annandale is very quickly changing the perception of Brentwood's availability of new homes in the luxury and estate home price range. The average sq ft in terms of size of the homes that are being built ranges from 4,000 to well over 10,000 sq ft.
Much like the Southern Land Company's projects in LaurelBrooke and Westhaven, Annandale has managed to capture the natural beauty of the area and integrate a modern living community with much more thought and attention to detail then some of the older subdivisions in Brentwood.
One of the most popular features is the open green space and park which is enjoyed by the residents year round and is a great place to exercise or just let your dog chase a ball and do all the hard work! Having a central open location also promotes the interaction between residents and has helped developed a gret community awareness and friendships amongst the home owners. The small but convenient club house offers a pool for the residents as well as a place to have social functions, grill out and generally unwind and relax with friends.
Currently homes start in high $800,000 range and go all the way up to over $2 million. The new contruction is currently well underway and property is selling very well and home values in the neighborhood have held the price which is a great reflection on the demand for this subdivsion.
The question of wether Annandale will ever become agated community is often asked but when planning permission was granted for the subdivsion, the ability to gate the community was denied by the Williamson County planning commission as they wanted to make sure that the access through the subdivsion remained as a open through fare. In reality the re is a feel of a gated community and this hasn't stopped celebrity figures buying in Annadale. You'll find professional athletes, songwiters, heads of local industry all living in this community much the same as the nearby gated community of The Governors Club.
