Kenner Manor Historic District Homes For Sale It’s official! Nashville’s fabulous Kenner Manor Historic District over in the Green Hills neighborhood has now made the National Register of Historic Places, which is just one of three sites in the state that will be added in 2016.

Located just west of Interstate 440 and just south of West End Avenue, the Kenner Manor Historic District is a small residential neighborhood that consists of 158 awesome single-family homes that feature a range of classic architectural styles like Colonial Revival, English Cottage Revival, and Ranch and Tudor Revival.

Nashville ApartmentsDallas-based developer Provident Realty Advisors Inc. has revealed plans that could bring about 600 new apartments to the Germantown and Midtown neighborhoods in Nashville. The first of the two projects is being planned for 801 2nd Avenue N., a location that sits just south of First Tennessee Ballpark.

As it stands, the 801 2nd Ave N. project would rise 6 stories high and include 360 units, as well as a five-story parking garage with an additional level of parking below grade. As of today, the building site is still owned by the Tennessee Education Association, but a deal is reportedly in the works to sell the property according to multiple media outlets.

Boost Commons Townhomes NashvilleA large townhouse project called Boost Commons has been proposed for a site behind Boost FitClub in Nashville’s Warner Park neighborhood. Although the development still needs approval from the Nashville Metro Planning Commission, which will require a zoning change to allow for more density at the project’s location at Vaughns Gap Raod and Highway 100, developers are fully aware of  the demand for this particular type of housing in the area.

Vietnam Veterans Wall

The traveling Vietnam Veterans Wall will make a  stop in Nashville over Memorial Day Weekend, giving locals a chance honor fallen heroes and pay tribute to all 58,272 names on the memorial. The wall will be brought to the Nashville National Cemetery, which will also host a ceremonial program at 1 p.m. that will include music and a speech from the director of Operation Stand Down, Col. John Krenson.

Elliott School Condos NashvilleMaintaining and preserving historic buildings and structures is important in real estate development no matter where you live and that’s a principle developers at The Mainland Companies seem to agree with. Announced earlier this month is a plan to convert the historic Elliott School site into condos, which also includes building two brand new buildings as well—a project that will bring 77 new condominium residences to one of Nashville’s oldest residential neighborhoods.

Nashville New Constrction Real Estate

Although residential new construction inventory is down, what is available certainly seems to be selling as we inch closer to the halfway point of 2016. An interesting article from Nashville Business Journal recently ranked the hottest selling new developments in the Nashville area, and according to their findings, home buyers appear to be extremely active in the new construction market, with home sales figures coming very close to equaling the number of home starts in a number of new developments or communities across the region.
