Pour House is located in the Gulch area. If you love to drink you will love it here. They have over 130 Bourbons and Whiskeys on hand. They also have 28 different craft beers available. If there is one thing Nashville is known for its great restaurants. Just recently two new restaurants opened in the area. Here’s a quick look at both of the new restaurants now open in Nashville.

AMOT Eatery

AMOT Eatery, previously known as A Matter of Taste, recently had a soft opening for their new location in East Nashville. The new location has been under construction for several months now. One thing that really makes this restaurant stand out is the fact it is 100% gluten free. This is a big deal for those with a gluten intolerance or allergy.

Dave Trett and Amanda Machala, owners of Red Bicycle Coffee & Crepes, plan to expand their business to two new locations in town. They are currently in Germantown but have started construction on a new location at 2519 Nolensville Pike and are working on adding one to the north of downtown in Nashville in Madison. Future Plans

Red Bicycle Coffee & Crepes are going to be opening two more locations in the area to go along with their Germantown spot. One will be located at 2519 Nolensville Pike where the former Woodbine Coffee Company resided. The hopes are that it will open in January or February in this location.

Nashville's Franklin Theatre is going to be hosting a Downton Abbey Screening & Soiree this December. Fans of the show won’t want to miss this 1920s Soiree and screening with themed hors d’oeuvres, photo ops and live music.

Downtown Franklin can enjoy free Trolley rides this holiday season. During holiday shopping season, Franklin has set up Stop Hop & Shop Trolley for select Saturdays in November and December. This is the first time they’ve done this for Franklin residents and it’s going to be a real treat.

This is all thanks to the partnership of the Franklin Transit Authority with the Downtown Franklin Associate. Here is a look at what to expect with the free trolley rides this year.

The Colonial Bakery Site of Melrose has plans underway to add a new 328-unit apartment complex thanks to Alliance Residential Co. The building is going to feature not only apartment buildings but also a 71,000-square-foot retail building.

They plan to call it Broadstone Eighth South and it will be four stories tall. The retail area will face Franklin Pike and the apartment building is going to face Elliot Avenue. Here is a look at what to except for this new retail and apartment development coming to Melrose.

Alliance Residential Company

The Gulch gained a new restaurant this past November and residents are excited. Chauhan Ale and Massala House opened in Gulch on November 18th thanks to executive chef and co-owner Maneet Chauhan. After visiting Nashville and falling in love with the people and city, Chauhan decided to open his restaurant here. It’s an Indian restaurant that has beautiful popping colors and brick to give it a contemporary feel. Here is a look at the new restaurant in Gulch of Nashville.


Inside you’ll notice the beautiful and elaborate Indian patterns and décor. It’s a bar-like feel with Indian colors. There is plenty of seating options with tables, booths and high bar stools in the bar. Eventually they’ll add a lounge with style, comfortable furniture.
