Downtown Nashville Condos & Lofts

It is only in the very recent past that the City of Nashville has allowed buildings in the downtown area to be zoned residential. In fact at the beginning of the 1990's there were no full-time residents in Downtown Nashville. As the zoning regulations were changed, more and more people took advantage of the new rentable spaces available. This confirmed that there was a demand for living and working in the downtown core, and prompted the next stage of development, which was building and converting existing units for sale as lofts and condos in Downtown Nashville.

Condos on 2nd Ave and Church have added to the vibrant feel of Downtown Nashville. As the resident population of Downtown has grown, there has been increasing demand for services in the area. These needs are being satisfied by new restaurants and shops, whose presence is boosting the local economy. This buzz of activity and economic prosperity in the downtown core in turn attracts more buyers to the area, which draws more businesses and investors.

Areas just outside the central business district such as the Gulch and SoBro are also attracting a tremendous amount of interest among developers and retailers. As these markets continue to experience a rise in residential development, businesses will be needed to cater to this new population of urban residents.
