Williamson County Association of REALTORS® Announces April 2010 Sales Statistics
May 12, 2010 (Franklin, TN) - The Williamson
County Association of REALTORS® announces the statistics for
home sales in Williamson County, TN for the month of April 2010.
There were 281 residential and condominium closings reported
during this period according to figures provided by RealTracs
Solutions, the multiple listing service used by REALTORS® in
the Middle Tennessee region.
The number of
single-family residential closings increased by almost
fifty (50) percent compared to April 2009, while the median
sales price experienced a decrease of twenty-seven (27)
percent. The median is a typical market price where half
of all homes sold for more and half sold for less. The
average days on the market (DOM) for residential homes decreased
by five (5) days compared to the same period last
year.

homes sold. This news seems somewhat bittersweet when you
consider all the families and businesses recently impacted by
the historic flooding that hit Williamson County and the Middle
Tennessee region. As REALTORS®, we realize the
clean-up and rebuilding efforts have only just begun. Our
thoughts remain with the government employees, volunteers, and
victims as they struggle through this difficult and stressful
recovery period” said Karen Baker, 2010 WCAR
President.
