Demo's Teak & Spaghetti House

It's not every day you see a restaurant put both "Steak" and "Spaghetti" in their name. However, Demo’s Teak & Spaghetti House has been doing it since 1989 and they do it very well. This is a locally owned business and provides the southern hospitality everybody deserves. The restaurant has four locations throughout the Middle Tennessee area and provides some of the best steaks you will find in Nashville.

Bob's Steak & Chop House

Found in downtown Nashville, Bob’s Steak and Chop Shop is known nationally as one of the best places for a steak. They provide the best corn-fed prime beef from the Midwest. If you want one of the best steaks in the city and maybe in the state, Bob's is the right choice for you. They are ranked one of the top steakhouses in the country due to their recipe of fine wines, stiff drinks, large cuts of beef, and elegant charm.

Hermitage Steak House

This independently-owned steak house has been open for over 20 years. They provide a rustic type of environment with reasonable prices. If you prefer to eat you steak in an unpretentious environment, this is the place for you. They also provide an excellent salad bar and humongous potatoes.

This is not the place to go for a pretentious atmosphere. This is the place for family-friendly comfort and a cozy rustic feel. Bring the family out for an incredible steak, the delicious salad bar, and the huge potatoes. They are open Tuesdays through Saturday.

Southern Steak & Oyster

Southern Steak & Oyster is known as one of the finer restaurants found in the Nashville area. This local restaurant was started by the same restaurateur as TomKats catering, which is known as one of the go-to choices within the city.

As you walk in, you will notice the doors are a reclaimed rustic style and the bar area is quite large. There's also a large patio. The design was done by Architect Seab Tuck. He's known for the work he did on the Frist Center for the Visual Arts and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Once you open the menu, you will find plenty of Southern-style dishes such as the Franklin's Saffire, Fish N' Grits and plenty of other choices. There are many great steaks on the menu, along with double-cut smoked pork chops and, of course, oysters.

The cuisine includes influences from the Caribbean, North Carolina and even Nova Scotia. It's upscale, yet affordable and provides plenty of great happy hour specials. Whether you want to dine in private or you're looking for a place to enjoy direct sourced seafood during the big game, Southern Steak & Oyster is a great choice.

Cherokee Steak House

This family owned and operated business has been open since 1958. Cherokee Steak House offers an affordable menu and a comfortable atmosphere. They originally opened as a fish restaurant but now serve the world’s finest beef from Iowa Beef Packers. Try the Cherokee Chief Award Winner, your choice of thick and juicy filet or beef tenderloin.

Known as one of the best in the city, Cherokee originally opened as a fish house in 1958. However, today, they serve up some of the most reasonably priced steaks in town and they certainly don't lack flavor.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

No list of top steakhouses is complete without mention of Ruth's Chris Steak House. This is by far one of the best in the world with 80 locations across the globe. The Standard At The Smith House

The Standard has a long and colorful history, beginning as the Smith House. Built in the 1840's, this prewar Italianate townhouse hosted Nashville's first bowling alley.
