Historic Nolensville Feed Mill is not only rich with music, but also with history. This is one of the oldest businesses, if not the oldest, found in Williamson County.
With over a century in business, Nolensville Feed Mill provides something you just don't see every day. The business is currently and antique and an antique store. However, it's not just any antique store.
You don't have to be on the hunt for something old to enjoy this store. This store also carries a number of items from local artisans including paintings, sculptures, handmade jewelry and more.
The History of the Feed Mill
Along with shopping here, you can enjoy the fully restored historic hold feed mill. This is a free exhibit you can visit year-round and provides a great look at the past of Nolensville. History buffs will love just taking a trip to the feed mill, even if they don't find anything they want to purchase.
Of course, while you're at the Nolensville Feed Mill, you can pick up a treat. They carry a variety of homemade goodies, such as pickles, chocolate covered blueberries, brittle and sponge candy.
Music at the Feed Mill
Not only do you get the historic exhibit and the store when you take a trip to the Nolensville Feed Mill, but you may also catch a show. The owner is Darin Scheff and he is the son of Jerry Scheff. Jerry played bass for Tom Petty, Jon Denver, Bob Dylan, The Doors and Elvis Presley. Darin's brother Jason also plays bass for Chicago and sings for the band.
The entire family is involved in the music scene and because of this, singers and songwriters come to play on the front porch sometimes. When this happens, it just adds one more unique element to your trip to the feed mill.
The Nolensville Feet Mill is found at 7280 Nolensville Road in Nolensville, TN.
