Watauga Lake in Centennial ParkFinding a park in Nashville isn't hard. However, narrowing down your choices to the top picks is a little harder. Here are a few of the best choices for outdoor fun at one of the Music City parks.

Centennial Park - 2600 West End Avenue

Maybe the most well-known park in all of Nashville, Centennial Park is a great choice for fun. This is the site of the Parthenon and one of the top locations for family pictures. The park provides two dog parks, the Watauga Lake, plenty of wildlife and plenty more.

Warner Parks - 7311 Highway 100

The drive to get to the park will provide plenty of scenery and once you arrive, you can enjoy a picturesque hike through the area. The park covers about 3,000 acres and it's found about nine miles from downtown. You will find equestrian trails, athletic fields and plenty of hiking trails at the Warner Parks. They also provide a golf course, a dog park and a nature center.

Radnor Lake Natural Area - 1160 Otter Creek Road

If you enjoy spotting wildlife, the Radnor Lake Natural Area may be the best choice in all of Nashville. Its home to plenty of deer, otters, beavers, turtles, snakes and over 240 different species of birds. The area covers about 1,200 acres and provides a great place to walk your dog, enjoy biking or go jogging.

Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park - 600 James Robertson Parkway

A popular spot for tourists and those enjoying a little history, the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is work the visit. You can view the 200-foot granite map of Tennessee, 31 fountains and so much more. This park is also home to an amphitheater with regular performances during the summer.
