Nashville folks can look forward to some excellent events coming to town soon. For the fall season, enjoy a musical performance, a play from the Lipscomb University students and an entertainment workshop. Here is what you can enjoy this November.
Lipscomb Presents: West Side Story
There are two weekends to check out West Side Story at the Collins Alumni Auditorium. October 30th through November 1st and November 7th through 8th will show West Side Story at 7:30pm each night. The Collins Alumni Auditorium is located at 1 University Park Drive. And tickets will cost from $5 to $17.
West Side Story is based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and has become one of the most performed productions in history. In this version, Romeo and Juliet are transported to New York City in today’s world and find themselves struggling to survive in a world of violence and prejudice. It will be performed by the Lipscomb University Theater Department.
Academy of Entertainment Workshop
Check out the Academy of Entertainment Workshop this November 15th and 16th at Smartt Steps Dance Studio. It will cost $225 plus fees and will be located at 225 Molly Walton Dr. Suite C. for two full days, you can experience classes and a Q&A session with entertainment professionals. You’ll learn real life skills in acting, vocals, dancing and more. You’ll learn all about how to manage your career and get in the industry.
Straight No Chaser at the Ryman
Straight No Chaser has become a huge name in entertainment over the years. This male a capella group has brought a unique experience to concert goers by putting on an a capella performance that sounds phenomenal while offering a comedic twist. They will be performing on Wednesday, November 12th at 7:30pm. You can watch them perform at The Ryman for $35-$55 this fall.
