Events

The 12th Annual Tomato Art Fest will be held in the Five Points area of East Nashville on August 7th and 8th. This is a fun event held every year and more than 35,000 will be in attendance. The event will be held at 11th Avenue and Woodland.

You can expect to enjoy plenty of great music, food, games, art and fun. The event is FREE and will run from 6pm to 11pm on Friday and from 9am to 6pm on Saturday. Live music stages and vendors will be on hand, along with plenty of contests.

The Tomato Art

The art at the festival will be all about tomatoes. Plenty of interesting pieces will be on display at the Art and Invention Gallery located at 1106 Woodland Street.

Activities

A number of great activities will be held throughout the weekend including:

  • A Recipe Contest – Will be held at Margot Cafe on Saturday with Judging at 2pm.
  • The Tomato Art Festival Parade - Will start at 9am on Saturday and will include all kinds of floats and fun.
  • Tomato King & Queen Contest - Will be het at The Drying Wolf on Thursday, August 6th at 7pm.
  • Kid's Tomato Art Show Opening Reception - Will be held at YCAP on Friday from 5pm to 6:30pm.
  • East Nashville Tomato 5K - Will be held in 5 Points on Saturday with start times at 7am for the Children's Fun Run and 7:30am for the Tomato 5K.
  • Kid's Tomato Art Exhibit - Will be held at the YCAP Chapel from 10am to 3pm on Saturday.
  • EEUMC's Tomato Art KidFest 2015 - Will be held at the Corner of Holly and 12th Street on Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
  • Beautiful Tomato Contest - Will be held at The Idea Hatchery on Saturday from 1pm to 2pm.
  • Tomato Story Time - Will be held at the Inglewood Library on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:30pm.
  • Bobbing for Tomatoes and the Tomato Toss - Will be held at Wags & Whiskers on Saturday from 10am to 1:30pm.
  • And More!

There will also be plenty of live music and entertainment, but the performers have yet to be announced.
