From festivals and fashion to live music and recreation, Music City is packed with things to do all throughout the month of April, and here's a closer look at just some of the area's most anticipated upcoming events.
Nashville Fashion Week- April 5-9
The month kicks off with a nod to high fashion during Nashville Fashion Week. This creative, five-day event features local and regional designers, in addition to plenty of national designers, too. Tickets to Nashville Fashion Week help promote and encourage the advancement of fashion-related local talent.
Cherry Blossom Festival- April 9
From fashion to flowers, the annual Cherry Blossom Festival helps celebrate the friendship between the United States and Japan. Along with celebrating the planting of hundreds of cherry trees in Nashville over the past several years, the event also features exhibits highlighting Japanese culture, delicacies and so much more. In fact, it's one of our favorite events all year long!
Rites of Spring- April 15-16
While live music is nothing out of the ordinary for Nashville, Rites of Spring is actually a pretty unique event. Showcased by Vanderbilt University, the weekend includes a variety of live music performances from a range of artists and musicians.
St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon- April 30
Finally, lace up your sneakers for the St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon. The combo full marathon and half marathon bring out an estimated 30,000 participants and spectators each year, and it's a great way to get out and enjoy the long-awaited, much-anticipated spring season in Nashville!
