This post is taken from the Nashville Post, but I thought it was worth sharing to all those people that are considering moving to the Nashville area, and have an interest in the public and private schools compared to the rest of the nation.
The U.S. News & World Report has just made public its eagerly awaited annual ranking of the top public high schools in the USA. The good news for Nashville is that Hume-Fogg Academic, which souunds like an traditional old English school from the 1930's, was actually voted as #1 in Tennessee for public schools. Hume-Fogg was actually ranked 49 in the whole nation of schools which is pretty impressive.
