You can find Berry Hill is hidden away in the Eight Avenue South district. Many consider Berry Hill its own city, but it is still looked at as a neighborhood within Nashville. Berry Hill has over 400 businesses, as well as 40 recording studios/music publishers. Bungalows and unique shops line the streets, and offer the residents a variety of products and activities to engage in.

Find everything from yoga to therapeutic massage. This is a hip neighborhood that is filled with one-of-a-kind jewelry makers and other talented crafters. Some of these types of shops offered in Berry Hill include:

  • Be Dazzled Beads
  • The Stitchin’ Post
  • Fabric Gallery & Décor

If you are looking for crafting classes you can try The Children’s Corner and Marguerite’s Sewing School.

There are shops for every occasion. When looking for vintage clothing, try Desinger Renaissance. For gift giving, try The Curious Heart Emporium. Not only are their a vast array of shops available, there are also many places to sit down and enjoy a tasty treat. The Pfunky Griddle allows you to become  a master chef.

All the tables have a built in griddle so you can make your own pancakes. All the batter and toppings will be available to you, so you can become as creative s you want when cooking your meal.

You an also enjoy The Yellow Porch, which offers a more formal dining approach. Their signature dishes include, port-poached cherry salad and seafood paella. Baja Burrito is just next door and offers their customers a more casual dining atmosphere. You can taste their famous burritos that are packed with fresh ingredients. When looking for a great cup of coffee, stop in at Sam & Zoe’s, they offer breakfast and lunch.

Berry Hill’s only has about 600 residents, but with all the businesses in this neighborhood, there is always a crowd around. Residents can enjoy all the amenities that a city has to offer, while living in a neighborhood that is friendly and seemingly peaceful.
