Celebrate the diversity of the Nashville community with the largest LGBTQ event coming to Nashville in June, and many other events leading up to it. Nashville PRIDE brings people together from all walks of life to create awareness of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and others in the area while creating a more vibrant community. Live performances, an extensive vendor marketplace, and family-friendly activities provide opportunities to support the goals of Pride events in Nashville. Those that can't make it to Nashville PRIDE can find many other events scheduled throughout the month.

Theater and Exercise for Pride

There are so many ways to support pride in June. Consider checking out a show from playwright Eve Ensler on June 8th at the Lipstick Lounge. Understand more about the female experience as women recount stories about sexuality and body image that includes the relationship women have with gender and sexuality. Proceeds from this Obie Award-winning performance go to Nashville CARES. Get tickets today for only $20.

A fun workout is planned for Nashville Pride on June 9th. Check out SWEAT + SUPPORT: Barry's Bootcamp x Nashville Pride, with a special 50-minute class starting at 1:30pm. Get in a good sweat at the Gulch location of Barry's Bootcamp with ticket sales going back to Nashville Pride. Arrive early to get oriented, and reserve a spot as space is limited.

Nashville Pride Festival

Come one, come all to the 31st Annual Nashville Pride Festival. Located at the Public Square on June 22nd and 23rd, make a $5 donation and meet up with friends at Nashville PRIDE. As part of the event, explore the over 200 vendors, take part in the Equality Walk and enjoy local and national acts across 3 stages. All are welcome and children can play in the kids and family zone, dance tent and youth area. Kids aged 10 and younger are free.

Don't miss out on the Pride Parade honoring the 50th anniversary of Stonewall on June 22nd starting at 10am on Broadway. With bands, walkers and more than 100 floats, expect an exuberant celebration from participants.

Afterward, head out to the stages from 11am to 7pm. Enjoy performances slated for the weekend including Neon Trees, Madame Gandhi, Brody Ray, Blam Blams, Angeria Paris Van Micheals, Jordan Allen, Simone Johns, and Axel Andrews. Be ready for a crowd as more than 40,000 people are expected at this annual event and last year's event broke records.

Make a Difference in Nashville
