Another St. Jude Fundraising Record The Middle Tennessee Dream Home campaign has raised a record-breaking $1,699,500 for the internationally recognized children’s research hospital. Thanks again to all who have supported this terrific cause. Given the challenges presented by the recent floods, it’s an accomplishment of which everyone involved can feel very proud of. | |
Pearre Creek Elementary It’s almost back to school time, and Pearre Creek Elementary is scheduled to open this fall, welcoming students from across West Franklin. A school in Westhaven has been an important component for the community since the early days, and now that this beautiful new learning institution is opening, there is a lot of excitement in the air. Sales Keeping Good Pace in 2010 New home sales in Westhaven are going strong as we pass the mid-year point. Creek Elementary School, Town Center beginning to really hit stride and
the introduction of lower pricepoints, now is the time to take a really
hard look at Westhaven. In other news, Town
Center at Westhaven has started initial grading on
an outdoor, lakeside seating and picnic area, located lakeside off of
Westhaven Blvd. In addition, STAR Physical Therapy is
opening it doors this month, and Oscar's Taco Shop and West Side
Wine and Spirits will open in the coming weeks. | |
Westhaven Golf
Club Membership Continues to Grow The Westhaven Golf Club has reached the 250-member mark -- a great source of pride for the Golf Club team and Southern Land. Momentum continues to build and with the new amenities on the way, the Westhaven Golf Club is on a fast track to become Franklin's premier golf experience. The first phase of the WHGC clubhouse is scheduled to break ground in the fall of 2010, with delivery slated for mid-summer of 2011. Southern Land Company, the course’s developer, is currently in the final design stages and preparing for construction in October. The next development phase will include a full dining and bar program with a 75-seat restaurant; a turn grill window service and snack area; outdoor porches, activity lawn, and event tent; a full service golf pro shop; men’s and women’s dressing rooms with guest day lockers and showers; and a bag storage facility. |
