A sub-section of the Antioch area, Cane Ridge provides an interesting neighborhood. This area of Nashville attracts younger families because of the newer homes and the affordable prices. Many of the homes were built in the 1990s and 2000s.

Along with the affordable real estate, the area provides easy access to downtown Nashville, along with Williamson County. Those commuting to the Franklin area often choose Cane Ridge because it's less expensive and the commute isn't too long.

Cane Ridge is served by many schools, which are known as the Cane Ridge School Cluster. They include:

  • Cole Elementary
  • A.Z. Kelley Elementary
  • Henry Maxwell Elementary
  • Antioch Middle School
  • Marshal Middle School
  • Cane Ridge High School
  • Antioch High School

All of the schools are above the state average and provide a good student/teacher ratio. Many new schools are in development, as well.

Cane Ridge is also known as the Brentioch area by some locals. You will find nicer stores within the area for grocery shopping and other shopping. Hickory Hollow provides the closest mall and the entire area of Brentwood is very accessible from this neighborhood.

The Cane Ridge Park provides good outdoor recreation with a playground and ball fields. The park is also home of a Model Plane Airstrip, which is fun to watch or take your own plane out and fly from the strip. Other parks and recreation areas are close by, as well.

Residents also enjoy a close location to the J. Percy Priest Reservoir. It's just a short drive away and provides access to a number of other parks, along with water activities. Cane Ridge is also just a short drive from Antioch Park, the Family Golf Center and the Global Mall at the Crossing.

Overall, Cane Ridge is a young and growing area with new homes. It's known best for providing a high value for real estate, with affordable prices and larger homes.
