As you might expect from a city with true Western influences Nashville has a variety of Western-themed events happening each year, including everything from music right the way up to rodeos. This particular rodeo is going to take place on both the 24th and 25th of August this year and the venue is the Bridgestone Arena.

If you've never been to a bull riding rodeo before then you're in for a treat as you watch some of the bravest men and women in the world try to stay seated on a bull which most definitely doesn't want them sitting there. This isn't like watching somebody trying to ride an electronic bull in some bar - these bulls mean business and every bull rider in this show is putting their life at risk every single time they ride a bull out into the arena.

The PBR show is one of the most popular in Nashville and brings visitors from all over the state to see these borderline crazy athletes compete against the raw force of nature, in the form of an angry bull. Remember that this isn't like bull fighting in Spain where the bull has almost no chance. In fact during a bull riding rodeo it's the rider themselves who are at the most risk and accidents and serious injuries can be quite common.

Booking tickets for this show well in advance is strongly advised because with legends like Shane Proctor, Silvano Alves and Marco Eguchi in attendance you can be sure that the shows will be sold out in almost no time at all.
