April is about to be the month of wine in Nashville. As many groups provide events with the goal of raising money for the non-profits in the city, it's important to know what's going on. Whether you want to sponsor an event or just attend, there's plenty to consider in the month of April.

The 11th Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction will help to raise money for the East Nashville Home Exchange. This event is sponsors in part by Midtown Wine and will be held at the St. Ann's Episcopal Church on April 19th. For the low price of $25 per person, this event will attract many local residents looking to enjoy the many wines from around the world. Attendees can also enjoy the silent auction featuring many items from gift certificates to sports memorabilia.

Another wine event is actually happening on the same night in Franklin. It's called A Vintage Affair and it will benefit Williamson County charities that help both women and children. It starts at 5:30pm outside the Jamison Hall in The Factory. The Sommelier's Preview will kick it all off with special wine tastings, hour d'oeuvres, cigars and champagne. This preview is $125 per person ad requires a reservation.

The main event of A Vintage Affair will start at 7pm and will feature many wine tasting stations, live and silent auction items, along with food stations. Enjoy a selection of many wines for $75 per person ahead of time or $85 at the door.

On April 18th, the Nashville Predators Foundation will hold their eighth annual Wine Festival on the ice at the Bridgestone Arena. This event benefits some of the charities the team supports and costs $75 per person. It kicks off at 6pm and will run until 10pm with more than 200 wines on display, along with beers, spirits, a silent auction and amazing food. Those looking for special treatment can enjoy the VIP Dinner and Tasting at the Patron Platinum Club from 6pm to 8pm. The cost for the VIP event is $200 per person and includes the main event.
