Due to insistent public demand, the Tin Cottage in Franklin is finally coming back. The public was very loud in expressing their desire to bring the Tin Cottage Back. After the outpouring of support, it’s back and it doesn’t look like it will be going anywhere anytime soon.
For those who are not familiar with Tin Cottage, this store was founded by Marianne DeMeyers two decades ago. It was actually the one stop shop for many people looking for unique sweet finds including vintage candy, artisan baked goodies, milkshakes, lemonade and so much more!
This store is located at 123 South Margin Street and even when the owner decided to close the store for quite some time, she never gave up the location. This means, shoppers familiar with the location will already know where to find the Tin Cottage.
The number of past customers talking to DeMeyers about the store brought her to make the decision of reopening the Tin Cottage. She was amazed at how these people created memories never erased by time, which also made her reminisce.
Due to the insistent public demand of people who were initially customers of the store before, DeMeyers finally said “YES” to them, and brought back the sweet store. You can still go to the Tin Cottage for the same freshly squeezed lemonades, artisan baked goodies, unique vintage candies and gift items. The store is going to be the same, but since we are in a modern era, expect some additional items that will allow the newer generations to create their very own memories of Tin Cottage, which they can share to the next generations to come.
The store is going to open under the name Honey’s Sweet Vintage. They did a soft launch on August 9th, so you can go ahead and check them out now.
