Katie Poppe of The Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Elite has had a very busy week in #Nashville #RealEstate.
Katie been working with a young couple from Pennsylvania who are purchasing a short sale. The home is located in the Indian Mound subdivision and was built in 1928, and they are planning to restore it to its original glory. The home has all the original doors and hardware, including original keys with tassels, original lighting fixtures, and original cabinetry. She has met with a contractor and her buyers to get estimates on the work to be done.
She also has a foreclosure under contract in Springfield and met with the buyers for the home inspection last Friday. The inspection was clean and the buyers are thrilled to be getting closer to moving into their new home at the end of June. It is a beautiful home for the mother and her son.
Katie is writing a contract today (Tuesday) on a lovely cottage in the heart of Smithville, TN. The home was built in 1901 and her buyers and their teenage daughter are excited to move to the small town, an enormous change from the hustle and bustle of South Florida.
She is showing homes Wednesday and Thursday to a new client who is a relative of some buyers her husband, Ryan Poppe, has helped recently purchase a home. These buyers are looking in the Murfreesboro and Goodlettsville TN areas.
New buyers from Texas are looking to relocate to Nashville and are looking in the $275k range for new construction in Murfreesboro, Brentwood, or Nashville. Katie has been researching various developments and builders for these buyers, who hope to have moved to Nashville by the end of the summer.
And finally, Katie has shown several homes to a buyer that is looking to purchase a home to rent to her daughter. She showed one yesterday in the Antioch area that the client plans to make an offer on this week.
Busy times for the #1 husband and wife team at the #1 RE/MAX team in TN and the #6 team in the USA!
