Music City Roots is one of the most popular radio shows in Nashville. It comes to you live every Wednesday night from 7pm to 9pm as a celebration of the music scene in the city. The show comes from The Loveless Cafe, which brings together fans of music. Whether you enjoy country music or any other genre, this is a radio show you will fall in love with.

Nashville is known as the epicenter for country music and the Music City Roots show embraces this foundation. Even though the show is broadcast all over the world, its tradition comes from the roots of Nashville tradition. Each week, a handful of artists will be interviewed for about 20 minutes each and a jam session will follow. Often, the artists on the show will collaborate, which adds to the excitement.

With two Grammies under his belt and plenty of other accolades, Jim is the perfect choice for a show like Music City Roots

Attending the Show

If you live in the Nashville area or will be visiting, you can get an up-close and personal look at the Music City Roots radio show by attending it live. The show is for all ages and tickets can be purchased at the Loveless Cafe, at Grimey's or online. Many of the shows sell out, so make sure you get your tickets early. Seating is first-come, first-served and the doors open at 6pm.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6 to 18. Students 19 and older get in for $5 with a valid student ID and other discounts are available for tours and special groups.
