If you're looking for something fun to do at the end of April, the Franklin Main Street Festival might be the perfect place for you. It will take place in downtown Franklin on April 27th and 28th. This festival will feature over 200 artisans and crafters, two carnivals, an international food court and entertainment on three stages.  

Entertainment for the festival hasn't been announced yet, but will be released on the website on April 15th. The event is presented by First Tennessee and the Heritage Foundation of Franklin is producing the event with help from Williamson County and the Downtown Franklin Association. The city expects to see over 100,000 people in attendance, as families come out to enjoy the many family-friendly activities including non-stop live music, over 20 food vendors, handmade crafts, art, photography, home and garden products and special children's activities.

Three areas will feature food from a variety of vendors. Enjoy everything from Greek gyros to Polish sausage and everything in between. Many delicious choices will be available including, stuffed baked potatoes, corn on the cob, kettle corn, smoked turkey legs, barbeque, burgers, hotdogs, Asian cuisine, Mexican cuisine, Southern style dishes, funnel cakes and much more.

The traditional carnival will be held at the silo property on 1st Avenue South and opens earlier than the festival. Enjoy the carnival from April 25th through the 28th. On Thursday and Friday, the carnival will be open from 5pm to 10pm and it will be open from 10am to 10pm on Saturday and Noon to 6pm on Sunday. Enjoy unlimited rides on Thursday night and Sunday with the $20 wristband.

Come out and enjoy live entertainment on all three stages free from 10am to 7pm on Saturday and from Noon to 6pm on Sunday. The Fourth Avenue Street Dance will continue the festivities on Saturday night until 10pm.
