Just some of the schools on the list include the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System, the Stratford STEM Magnet High School, the Martin Luther King Junior Magnet Pearl High School, Pearl-Cohn Entertainment Magnet High School, and John Overton Comprehensive High School. This list doesn’t include the many different public schools in the separate bureaus of the city, each of which provides for students proficiently. High school is the starting point of every person’s life, and the city of Nashville acknowledges the fact by providing well for their younger residents.

Some of it’s most well known institutions of higher education include Fisk University, Tennessee State University, Vanderbilt University, Lipscomb University, and Trevecca Nazarene University. Fisk University is not only a well renowned university, but it is also a national landmark, praised for being the first institution to provide free education to the African-American community when it was the Fisk School.
