A new hotel and eatery are coming to the Gulch area in Nashville in 2015. The Nashville Business Journal is talking about the new luxury 12-story hotel coming to the city that will hold the nationally-known eatery called The Doughnut Vault.

In 2016 you can expect to enjoy these delicious doughnuts as construction completes along Pine Street at the intersection of 12th and 11th Avenues.  Here is what is going on with the Doughnut Vault project in Gulch.

The Hotel

The luxury hotel will have 224 rooms and open in the summer of 2016. Located along Pine Street, this downtown location is offering another luxury boutique hotel option to the area and including the doughnut shop inside.

The hotel is a Thompson hotel brand that teamed up with Market Street Enterprises which is the primary developer in the Gulch area. Everyone is excited about the doughnut shop since the area doesn’t have much like it right now. There is Fox Den donuts but clients find it to be mediocre.

Doughnut Vault

The Chicago-based doughnut shop is both a brick and mortar store as well as a van/food truck. They serve amazingly delicious all week until they sell out. They are so popular they usually sell out quick. The line is usually a 45 minute wait because of the popularity of their product. In fact their doughnuts have been featured on food TV programs.

While this isn’t even coming to the area until 2016, many are already getting excited so they know what to expect for the opening. With long lines and high demand, you want to be ready on opening day. Bring cash since they offer an old-fashioned type of experience. Make sure you have time to wait in line. You’ll get to choose from glazed, unglazed, yeast and cake doughnuts and they cost $2 per doughnut.
