Don't Miss This Years TACA Craft Fair at Centennial Park May 4-6th

For the past 40 years, native Tennesseans have come from all over Nashville and surrounding areas to enjoy perusing the wide array of beautiful artworks and activities on exhibit at the Tennessee Association of Craft Artists' annual Spring Craft Fair. This now expansive fair has become increasingly more popular over the past decade, and now in 2012 TACA estimates the biggest event yet – Over 45,000 Tennesseans are expected to grace the fairs' grounds from May 4 to May 6 at Centennial Park (just outside of downtown Nashville).

This year, TACA is making it fun not only for the couples and parents, but for any kids coming along too. There won't be any groaning from your little ones' complaints of boredom thanks to the free kid's entertainment that will be provided at the fair, mainly in the form of crafts and other hands on activities. Whether you're looking for a touch of new décor for your home – such as from one of Nashville's potters or carpenters – or simply seeking a fun weekend that your whole family can enjoy, there'll be something for you at the TACA craft fair.

Nashville is known as Music City USA – it offers a wide open and receptive community to just about any musician in the area. Well, The Tennessee Association of Craft Artists is devoted to extending that same courtesy to the otherwise unrepresented craftsmen of this creatively oriented city.

You won't want to miss the 170 craft artists that will be displaying their work this year at the fair; even if you're not coming to buy, it's virtually guarantee that you will leave with something lovely. It's free to get in because this craft fair is all about the artists, so at worst it's a free afternoon of fun!

Stop by the TACA craft fair from 10 AM – 6PM on May 4th and 5th (Friday and Saturday), and then scoop up a couple last minute deals on Sunday from 10 AM – 5 PM.
