The Belle Meade Plantation is the perfect place to enjoy plenty of history and fun. The plantation was founded by John Harding back in 1807 and since has become a historic landmark with a Greek-Revival mansion and so much more. If you love history or you're looking for the perfect place for your next event, this might be the right choice.

Group Tours

Many different group tours are offered for both children and adults. Whether you want to bring your class for a field trip or you have a group of adults ready for a tour, you have plenty of choices here. Adult tours include:

  • Regular Group Tours - A guided tour of the mansion, plantation and more. This tour has a minimum of 15 guests and the rate is $13 per person.
  • Lunch Tours - Enjoy a tour, along with delicious lunch for a minimum of 20 people or dinner for a minimum of 40 people. This tour is perfect for rehearsal dinners and other events. This tour is $34 per person, which includes the meal and a wine tasting.
  • Culinary Tours - If you love to cook, this is the tour for you. Along with a tour of the plantation, you get to cook in the plantation kitchen and use the smoke house. This tour is $40 per guest with a minimum of 15 guests. If you want to include lunch, the price is $55 per guest.

Other tours include the Progressive Plantation Tour, the Holiday Wassail Tour and the Lemonade Tour. All tours need to be booked in advance.

If you just want to come out and enjoy the plantation on your own, you can. Regular admission includes a guided tour of the mansion and the rate is $26 for adults, $19 for students and $8 for children ages 6 to 12. A family pass is $45 and includes two adults and up to four children ages 6 to 18.
