One of my hobbies is photography and I get to use this for a good cause occassionally and one such event was the charity golf event held by Cortland Finnegan and Vince Young of the Tennessee Titans.

The location for the golf tornament was at the Governors Club in Brentwood TN. This is a gated residential community and has some of of the most expensive real estate in the Nashville area and perhaps the highest concentration of million dollar homes in Brentwood.

The number of high profile residents meant that the golf tournament was an invitation only event and also by paying for a spot on a team. The benefit for the teams was that each team was accompanied by a Titans player so it turned out to be a fantastic event. The local media were present to cover the event and help the raise the profile for Cortland's charity www.ARK31.org

It was an extremely hot day but I spent most of the day drving around the course taking pictures of the golfers and the event with Cortland Mom...the pictures can be seen HERE

The interesting part for me was that I had the chance to see the Governors Club development from a slightly different point of view. I have driven the development streets quite a few times and have sold a few homes and had homes listed here ( I currently have a home listed for sale at 108 Governors Way ) See the back of some of these multi million dollar homes gives a full appreciation for the size and quality of construction of the homes that back up to the golf course.

If you are interersted in golf and living on a golf course there are a number of options in Nashville but these genarally fall under the heading of Nashville Luxury Homes but, as usual, Nashville really is an umbrella for all the surrounding cities and communities such as Brentwood, Hendersonville, Gallatin, Franklin and more.
