June is fast approaching and if you are a fan of country music living in the Nashville area, then you have probably already had your calendar marked for the CMA music festival for several months now. If you haven't, now is the time since this year's CMA music Fest is primed to be one of the best of all time. This annual event has become a Nashville tradition, and is one more reason why so many call Nashville, Tennessee the Country Music Capital of the World.

The Country Music Association has really outdone themselves because this year's lineup is one long string of recognizable country stars; you'll enjoy the soul warming melodies of Kenny Rogers, Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood and many more. This is the 41st year the festival has taken place, and each year it seems to grow progressively more popular – in 2011, over 65,000 country music fans from all over the country (and even the world) graced Downtown Nashville for the CMA fest each day of the 4-day festival...That's almost 300,000 tickets sold! Although to be fair, there is the option of purchasing a four-day pass if you plan to see every single act every single day. Still, the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau estimated that the 2011 CMA festival generated $30 million for the surrounding community; there's no denying that this is an important aspect of Nashville, both economically and culturally.

In the end, you can't really call yourself a diehard country music fan if you're not going to make the trip out to the year's most prolific country music event in Nashville, Tennessee. Tickets are on sale now for the CMA Music Festival 41st Fan Fair, which takes place June 7 to June 10 in Downtown Nashville.
