A busy start to the year for Mark O’Connell of The Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Elite. Here is his day by day breakdown:

Sunday: Mark met with existing clients to view condominiums in the 1101 Eighteenth Development. These included both 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units in the $200,000 to $400,000 price range. These clients are interested in this property as an investment and an offer was written.

Monday: Mark attended a (TAREG) team meeting at the RE/MAX office in Brentwood. Armando SanMiguel of Ameris Bank educated the team on the latest developments with interest rates; Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. Also in attendance were TAREG’s preferred Partners including Tennessee Title Services, Raymond Preston Reed Insurance and First American Home Buyer Protection Corporation who also educated us on the latest developments in their respective fields of expertise.

Tuesday: Mark met with new clients who are relocating from New York for to pursue employment opportunities. He showed these clients 3-4 bedroom single family homes in Brentwood and downtown Nashville in the $250,000 - $350,000 price range.

Wednesday: Mark has a conference call with his client currently working in Saudi Arabia and Jeff Checko from TAREG. This client is considering building a custom home in Fairview, Spring Hill or Hendersonville in the coming months with Jeff’s company Dreambuilders. Sample plans / layouts and potential lots were discussed. The client will visit Nashville in mid-February to progress these plans.

Thursday: Mark spent the morning working “on” his business, implementing systems, creating structures, perfecting a weekly schedule and time management plan. In the afternoon, Mark connected
past clients, customers returning to the website and gained a number of new clients who will be viewing properties in the near future.

Friday: Mark met with clients who travelled from Chicago to view a number of condominiums and single family homes. These properties are located within a few miles of Belmont and Vanderbilt Universities and are a mixture of 2-3 bedrooms under $300,000. More viewings are planned for the weekend.

Thats what's know as a "busy week in real estate!"
