May 11th and 12th brings one of the most unique events to the James K. Polk Theater. It's time for the Erth's Dinosaur Petting Zoo, which is both a rare and pleasurable experience. This awesome event features many prehistoric creatures, from huge dinosaurs to small baby dinos. What makes this event so special is these dinosaurs are actually in a petting zoo!

Not only will the kids love petting baby dinosaurs and interacting with larger ones, but also adults will enjoy this astonishing event. These life-like dinosaurs provide plenty of fun and education. Your imagination will run wild as you enjoy the performance and this event is perfect for all ages. If you love dinosaurs or have children that do, this is the perfect event for you.

These creatures are fascinating and this performance shows what they were like millions of years ago. As both kids and adults interact with the dinosaurs, you could find your head inside the mouth of a dinosaur, while watching your child pet a baby dino. Imagine feeding and taking care of these creatures as the performers walk you through some of the easy lessons of animal husbandry. The goals of the show include:

  • Combine many different artistic mediums into a visual show
  • Provide a professional performance fun for everybody
  • To education both adults and children about dinosaurs
  • Continued growth of the show on an international level

Performances will happen at 11am and 2pm both May 11th and May 12th. Tickets are available online and cost $15 to $25, depending on the seats you select. This is a once in a lifetime experience and one the entire family can enjoy. The Erth's Dinosaur Petting Zoo is a traveling show and won't be back in Nashville anytime soon. Make sure you get your tickets before the performances sell out.
