Biscuit Love has been known as a top food truck for quite some time. Recently, they opened an actual restaurant found at 316 11th Avenue in Nashville. This restaurant has been in the works for a few months and now you can get the best biscuits in town without tracking down the food truck.
The location is right on the corner of Pine Street and 11th Avenue. It's on the first floor near Bar Louis in the Velocity Building. This makes it very convenient and very easy to find.
Biscuit Love started as a food truck in 2012 and received rave reviews from many bloggers and other foodies. It was owned by Karl and Sara Worly and they quickly built a following. After a few years, the couple decided it was time to make the business into a brick and mortar restaurant. Since they saw so much success as a food truck, the leap wasn't as large.
Biscuit Love comes to mind when you think about Saturday and Sunday brunch in Nashville. With plenty of brunch-type items on the menu, it will become a hot spot on weekends.
Along with brunch, the restaurant will serve breakfast and lunch daily. The menu includes many of the favorites from the food truck with southern classics, such as grits, burgers, eggs, donuts, biscuits and more.
The restaurant uses a local source for most ingredients and they pair the brunch items with bloody marys and mimosa. One of the most popular items is called Bonuts. These are absolutely delicious and provide something a little different for breakfast, brunch or even lunch.
Details and Hours
The menu includes items ranging from about $6 to $14 with many items in the $10 range. You will find six different cocktails on the menu, along with a list of rotating beers and wines. They also offer a few coffee drinks.
Parking is found on the street or in one of the garages in the Gulch. Biscuit Love is open from 7am to 3pm daily.
