Do You Love Puppets and Music?

The Nashville International Puppet Festival is coming to the Nashville Public Library June 21st through 23rd. Some of the activities are free and will feature colorful story telling with hand puppets, rod puppets, marionettes, shadow puppets and more. This festival will feature all types of activities including:

  • String city - Thursday, June 20th at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum starting at 7pm. Tickets are $30 per person.
  • TPAC presents Martinis & Marionettes - Saturday, June 22nd at TPAC's Johnson Theater starting at 7pm. Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 the night of the event.
  • Puppet Parade - Saturday, June 22nd at 9am. The parade starts in front of the library and will march down Church Street.

Calling All Dukes of Hazzard Fans

This event features all types of entertainment and fun. It's limited to only 600 people, so you want to get your tickets as soon as possible. The place is Cooter's Place on McGavock Pike, which provides a great location for this type of event.

A Fun Festival for Everyone

This event will actually happen in Manchester, Tennessee, which is just a short drive away. The good news is the Nashville Convention Visitors Corporation is providing single-day tickets and shuttle packages. The busses will leave from LP Field twice a day and shuttle pass holders get free parking, as well. The shuttle will also come back to Nashville twice at night after the festival.

Pricing for Shuttle Packages

  • Thursday Shuttle Package - $112.50
  • Friday, Saturday and Sunday Packages - $174.50
  • Full Weekend Package - $475

These packages all include single-day tickets and round trip shuttle passes for the events.
