Mark had an open house in Bellevue this week and completed his training with WCAR.

Having completed his first VFD on Wednesday, he is showing a $800k c. 13,500 Sq ft Lake home in Hendersonville this weekend, a property previously sold by Gary Ashton in 2007 for $1.65M but now being sold by the bank. An unfortunate reflection of buying at the height of the market and having to sell when it has become a buyers market.

Jason had a great week of working with clients, a closing, and taking continuing education classes.

 On Friday the 30th, Jason had a closing on a stunning Gallatin, TN home with fireplaces galore, a dream kitchen, and one street over from the lake front golf course community Fairvue Plantation, all for $330k!  

Jason also submitted offers on a Mount Juliet home around $115k, a short sale home in Spring Hill around $100k, and is working with 2 clients over the weekend around $200k.  

Jason is keeping his education up to date by taking the Tennessee Real Estate Commission's CORE course and also keeps fit by playing a couple of nights a week in a local soccer leaugue!

He has a closing next week for $315k in the Inglewood neighborhood of East

Jeff Checko closed a transaction when he sold a home in Franklin TN for $305k this morning, and closing another in Davidson County early next week!  

He has set up many new VFD clients this week, and communicated with numerous out of state buyers who have either visited Nashville once, or are gearing up to come to town soon.

Tomorrow he will be showing a first time buyer a 4 bedroom 3 full bath home in Springfield with an asking price of $119,900.

LeAnne Constantine has had another busy week, wrapping up an active real estate month in September.

She a closing on a Goodlettesville home at just under $300K ,with the help of Armando at Brand Mortgage, and now is getting ready for out of town clients next week, shopping for $2-4M primarily in the Brentwood and Franklin areas just a short drive time to the south of Nashville.

Working on commercial lease deal and working with repeat client shopping for multiple investment properties at just under $200K each.

She is also showing property to new clients each week in October 2011 which reflects the team attitude that the interest in homes for sale in Nashville TN has not receded at all.

This week, Paula Piskie finalized a contract on a home in the Governors Club in Brentwood TN.  The home is listed for just $3.0M and the home inspection was carried out on Friday.  When the home closes in October 2011 it will likely be the most expensive luxury home to close in Brentwood that month, or even that quarter.

The Governors Club is one of only a small number of gated communities in the Brentwood and Nashville area that has a full time manned security policy. This makes this desirable golf course community an attractive proposition when it comes to residents who require a higher level of security or just like the idea of living in a restricted access community

Last week, Trulia released the results of its biannual American Dream Survey, which has tracked American attitudes towards homeownership since 2008. Harris Interactive conducted this online survey on Trulia's behalf between August 30 to September 1, 2011 among 2,207 U.S. adults aged 18 and over.

According to the research, "70 percent of Americans said homeownership is part of achieving their American Dream. ...Notably, more than half (57 percent) of current homeowners said owning a home is among the best long-term investments they could make, ahead of putting money in a 401K or other retirement accounts (52 percent).
