Belle Meade real estate is very upscale; it houses a prestigious social scene associated with the Nashville music identity, but is also wealthy with money from the old plantation days.

The Belle Meade Country Club is another staple of the social and sporting life in Belle Meade. The entry fee is $50,000 but you will have to put your name down on the list and wait as the club is currently not talking any new members. The website is not very informative www.bellemeadecc.org but if you click on the members link you will get to see a shot of the golf course, the tennis facilities and the club house exterior.
It should be pointed out that there are other kinds of neighborhoods in Belle Meade. To the east, there are condos and bungalows favored by those with an eye for the stylishly shabby.
The luxury condos developments are taking shape now and for the homeowner wanting the luxury and convenience of Belle Meade as well as the level of finish they have come to expect with Sub Zero, Wolf, Dacor, Viking appliances, travertine tile, granite counters throughout the condos.
