Cool Springs Real Estate Market
The growth of the Cool Springs community can be dated back to the opening of the Cool Springs Galleria Mall. The old adage of "if you build it, they will come" definitely applied here — especially in regards to the real estate market. The Cool Springs Galleria and Cool Springs Crossings are located 15 miles south of Nashville in Franklin, TN. Cool Springs Galleria has five department stores, over 165 specialty shops, and the 500-seat Oasis Food Court.
Cool Springs also functions as a center for business and is a popular location for corporations to relocate their headquarters. When Nissan announced a move to Cool Springs from California, this had a great impact on the Cool Springs area and its housing market, and it resulted in an influx of Californian home buyers. This migration of business and new home buyers to the Cool Springs area has had the effect of popularizing the area and attracting peripheral support industries. The long-term effect of these new home buyers is likely to enhance the area's appeal even further, when friends and relatives come and visit the new home owners and see for themselves the value of a home here.
Home listings start at a minimum of $450,000, but there are many luxury homes for sale here in the Brentwood and Franklin area that go up to $10,000,000! Most of Nashville's country music "royalty" (including Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and Brad Paisley) all live near Cool Springs.
This area and the housing market is still growing, although it's difficult to see what else could be added!
